While zero latency is reason enough to love this product, there’s also a few other great new features worth noting. 3G-SDI, HDMI, and HDBaseT inputs are all supported, Providing excellent versatility. One of the most noticeable improvements is that the resolution is improved for 10bit input, now reaching 1600×1200@60Hz. Additionally, 12bit input source video is now supported. The 660 Pro also has 2 additional optical outputs that the original 660 lacked. These two output ports come in handy for fine-pitch large cabinet mapping. The Pro version is able to handle some mapping configurations that the original MCTRL660 would have had issues with.
